If you can read this, you’re supposed to be here.
I created this “secret” page as a supplement to the existing writing samples that are linked to on the “Samples” page to show examples of my writing in various formats.
Note that I am unable to procure a complete “portfolio” of everywhere my writing is and has been, online or off. (Believe me, I’ve tried.) Most of my earlier work on the web is now only accessible via the Wayback Machine on archive.org, I’ve taken my old blogs down, and most of the websites that have published my work as a guest poster or a feature writer are either no longer in existence or do not have their archives readily available. Examples of tangible things, such as brochures, proposals for engineering companies, and articles published in alternative weeklies are lost in a box somewhere in storage.
Regardless, below you’ll find a few links and embeds of my writing that display more diversity of styles. This is by no means exhaustive, as I publish things every week somewhere or another.
Should you have any questions, please contact me directly. Thanks!

REALLY Old Writing
I recently discovered that some of my earliest internet-published writing about music still exists. I was a writer for a site called Femmusic.com, which to my surprise, is still around.
IndieGrrl Detroit Show – September 1st, 1999
Susan Tedeschi – Just Won’t Burn album review (October 1st, 2000)
Music Writing Archives Subdomain (Also old writings, but not as old as the ones on the left)
It’s not possible for me to find all of my music journalism archives, but I did have some on .xml files of now-defunct blogs. So I created a subdomain of this site (https://music.textonfire.com/) and put them there for posterity.
Recent Music Writing - Shutter 16
I decided to dust off my old music journalist had and join the staff of Shutter16.com, so this is where you can find my latest stuff.

The Memoirs of Marsha Mosquito
I do the majority of the copy and content writing for a dozen or so Mosquito Squad franchises, but only ad hoc writing for this locaton, Mosquito Squad of West Chester & Delaware Counties, PA. The owner wanted a story that described the life cycle of a mosquito, but in first person narrative as a mosquito named Marsha.

This is a sample of my WordPress work. I wrote some, but not all of the copy on the site. The stuff below the hero image is her blog, not my writing. Carolyn’s site is always being updated on both the front and back ends. Like all artists, it’s a constant work in progress.
